The J-1 visa summer Foreign Worker Program gives US employers a chance to hire well-motivated international staff to help them deal with their businesses’ busy summer period.
At the same time it offers international university students the opportunity to come into the US during the summer for up to 4 months of employment.

The J-1 visa program has been established by the Department of State to foster understanding of the US culture by foreigners. Every year hundreds of US employers pursue this avenue to hire motivated international staff. The J-1 visa summer program is also called “Work/Travel Program”.

Our international students are available in the summer time only. Typically they arrive in the US between May, 20 th - June, 30 th. They are allowed to work a maximum of 4 months from then.

Since Student Adventure was established in 2000 we have brought well over 8000 international students for over 500 US employers. The J-1 visa program comes at no cost to US employers. Student Adventure is fully financed from the program fees charged to the participating students.
